Canon Human Services is located in South Central Los Angeles, a very accessible area for those living in southern California. We’re a non-profit community service corporation that provides drug-free counseling and support services for both outpatient and residential settings. Canon’s mission doesn’t end with a participant’s completion of the treatment program: we provide continuing support during the period following treatment through outpatient services. We know this period is critical and we want to make sure no setbacks affect our patient.
Inpatient treatment and supportive services at Canon Human Services are provided directly by the Brown Scapular Program staff. We make this available through cooperating agencies or through Mental Health Referral Services that Suit your Needs. Canon’s facility are of easy access and its services accommodating to persons who are physically handicapped. We provide residential short-term treatments (30 days or less) or Residential long-term treatment (more than 30 days).
Our therapeutic approaches include Cognitive/behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Substance abuse counseling approach, Rational emotive behavioral therapy. Inpatient treatment/recovery and supportive services at Canon Human Services are provided directly by the Brown Scapular Program staff through cooperating agencies or by referral.
